Presidential Bid for 2016

     I have decided that I am going to run for President of the United States of America in 2016. I can no longer sit back and watch the GREATEST country on earth be led to a third world status.
    I would like to present some of my ideas here now for you to read and think about. This is going to be a grassroots campaign that will show the opposition that there is no need to spend a million dollars on a campaign. I will run as an independent or a write in vote, but, I will be there. I do understand that I will not be able to stand up against the professional politicians in a debate, and I am sure they will be laughing at me through it all, but, let them laugh. I will show them how simple it is to reign in the outrageous spending by the over-sized government that they have created.
     The first thing that needs to be done is the elimination of pork barrel spending. I understand that the University of North Carolina wanted a bug museum, and they needed $17 million to build it, but, if it were up to me, it would NOT have come from the American taxpayers pockets. I would have to explain to them that they needed to contact Alumni and hold fund raisers, maybe, have a teacher vs. students basketball game, I don't know, but, it would not be paid for through my office.
     I would also get us out of the UN. How much could the US save by no longer being the "UN Police Force?" Billions would be saved every month. Let the Middle East take care of itself. These people have been fighting since the dawn of time, we DO NOT belong in the middle of their fighting. It is all over OIL anyway. So, we need to tap the oil fields in America. On the border of Montana and Canada is the largest oil reservoir on the planet. Why aren't we drilling there already? Because we might offend the Canadians by tapping in, since the reservoir is on both sides of the border.
     My plan would be to meet with the Canadian Prime Minister and just explain to him that we are no longer depending on OPEC oil, and, if he wants to tap into the reservoir, then he better get to drilling because the US is drilling. We will drill in Alaska and reopen all the wells that are capped throughout the West. Yes, I know that would cost money to reopen these wells but I bet it won't cost us $100 a barrel in the long run. Thusly, we are freed from fighting in the Middle East to protect American "INTERESTS."
     Now then, we will no longer be a police force and no longer protecting our "interests" abroad, we bring the troops home. We then can protect our own borders. We will allow immigration after we clean the country of ALL illegals. This is another source of cash depletion in this country. A lot of people are not going to agree with this policy, but, they will be given the opportunity to become legal citizens through the proper channels. If you are caught crossing into OUR country, the first offense will be a minimum sentence of 5 years in a Federal prison, where you WILL be employed in constructive work programs that will teach a skill. I guess it will be a kind of 5 year internship, then you will be deported. But, remember they will have learned a skill that they can take back to their home country and put to use improving the said home country, thus, the "home" country can start to grow financially and slow the attempts to cross into the US illegally. If caught a second time, a mandatory minimum 10 years in the Federal prison system, also spent working on Federally funded infrastructure work.
     Now, I have saved the country close to a trillion dollars. We will begin to repay the $3 trillion owed in IOU's to Social Security, and there will be no more borrowing against this. By saving on the welfare of illegals and illegal children, which WILL include any child born on American soil to illegal parents. The welfare system will be reformed to its original form. It will be used to help those who can not help themselves through no fault of their own.
     No longer will insurance companies decide how people live. When a natural disaster occurs, the Federal government will bring in the Federal Immigration prisoners to rebuild. This gets the natural disaster area straightened back out, at 1/10 the cost, and is teaching the skills the illegal immigrant is going to take back to his/her home country.
     These are a sampling of my thoughts and yes, I do realize that some of these seem like draconian laws but it is going to take these types of steps to straighten this mess out. There will be no cruel treatment of anybody, regardless of what they have done. But, if you are tried in a court of law, beyond a reasonable doubt, with DNA evidence and eyewitnesses....sorry, but there will be no sitting in prison for 20 years filing appeal after appeal. I think 2 appeals will be sufficient, then the sentence will be carried out. There will be no getting out on parole, if you get a sentence then you do the sentence. I do not believe in repeat offenders when it comes to murderers, rapists, and child molesters....I believe these people deserve capital punishment. I will not have the Federal prison system crowded with Marijuana offenders. I will push for Congress to decriminalize marijuana and allow every man and woman the right to grow 4 plants at a time in their homes for personal consumption. There is another boat load of money saved right there. If able to, I will push for the legalization of marijuana.We could regulate it like alcohol. 21 to purchase. DUI if caught high while driving (the technology is here to test for the amount of time since smoking). This could be taxed like alcohol, as a luxury item, and pay off the national debt in 10-15 years.
     So, here is a portion of my manifesto, and I am open for suggestions from the common people of America. And trust me when I say the 2nd Amendment would have no worries. Jeffersonian run government.
