RANT AND RAVE

Today, as I was wondering around our local Wal-mart, people watching; I found some American flag Zippo lighters. I collect Zippo lighters so I said what the heck and bought one. I got home and started really looking at it, and when it is sat the correct way it is an upside down flag. The flag of distress in our area. 
It is cool!! And after the way things are going in the world and our beloved US, it was an appropriate flag! 
We are under invasion as I write this. Our borders are a joke to the entire world. Everyone on the planet knows they can get in. The northern border is just as bad as our southern border.
We are acquiring new viruses, new diseases, and a drain on our economy. Schools are being filled with ILLEGAL children who are getting free lunches and the adults are getting free loans, free healthcare, and so on!
I have absolutely no problem with anyone on this earth. But, the US can no longer bear the burden of the whole world. We have ourselves locked in the middle of a war, that will never end peacefully, and if we would just bring our troops home, the Jihadists would be happy; we could guard our borders.
How could we pay for this great move? Cannabis! I know many of my FaceBook friends don't like my involvement with PEACHTREE NORML....too bad! I believe that hemp and cannabis would give us an economical shot in the arm! We need a president with the balls to push for this! Americans have been polled and 60% would have no problem with the legalization of cannabis and hemp. The cannabis PLANT contains many helpful benefits. If we regulate it the way alcohol is regulated, taxed like alcohol, what's the big deal? There are tests that can tell how long it has been since you last smoked (or however you choose to use). DUI laws the same as alcohol!
Many may say, "We don't want our children to be exposed to it!" That's a great concern! Most if not all 
users aren't going to leave it out just like you aren't going to have alcohol available for your children!
Why would we want to legalize cannabis and hemp?
I would say this: we are paying farmers in the Midwest ever since Jimmy Carter was president! Guess what they are paid to raise? NOTHING!! That's right,they are being paid to grow nothing! Now, imagine if we had those farmers growing hemp. Hemp is the strongest natural fiber on earth! This, the reason heavy duty rope, as in the rope the ship tie to dock with. Henry Ford built an entire Model A from hemp. It performed twice as good as wood and sheet metal, as well as lighter. It cost Henry Ford around 60% less than a standard Model A! 
Henry Ford just couldn't afford to pay the taxes on hemp. By the way, hemp is NOT marijuana! They are from the same botanical species but hemp does not contain THC (the stuff that gets you high).
We could tax hemp just like wheat. Another good thing is that, instead of the one corn crop per year, hemp can grow 3-4 crops per year! THREE or FOUR CROPS PER YEAR! That's triple the taxes each year instead of one! I'm no math expert, but three is better than one. Why not allow Mexico to import cannabis. They are flooding south Texas anyway!
We are still at war in Afghanistan, the Iraq war is over, we are bombing "ISIS" on the Turkey/Syria border, has anyone else noticed that Turkey wants no part of this? I'm no tree-hugging anti-war person, not at all!! BUT, I do think it's time to bring the troops home and worry with our own concerns, like BORDER CONTROL, and home-grown terrorists, traitors who are trying to join ISIS! They should be hung for treason!
